suburban mutilation- the opera ain't over til the fat lady sings lp

i'm posting like a machine? does not compute. anyway was looking through the archives of one of my favorite blogs good bad music and i saw something funny from 2006. erich's note about mp3s. i both agree and disagree with him. it's pretty moot now cause he's posting the full records but it's my fuckin blog. on one hand i can agree that you should buy the record if you can on cd or vinal. but i also understand that not everyone can aford to shell out hundreds of dollars for a record. this guy named steve said "remember when punks were punks and bought music?" yeah remember when punks were ritch and could speen 300 dollars on a 7 inch? yeah i don't either. plus some of us don't have a turntable because it broke when i was trying to rip a record and we can't aford a new one. oh and erich (who is a super nice guy) found out i have the first rf7 ep and wants it. what do i do? i kinda want to give it to him but then again it's a rare record. so.yeah what do i do. edit. oa i'll see what i can do erich about it. it's already ripped so i think i'll put it on ebay or something or i'll get in touch. editing done. anyway on to the review. this lp is a monster. feedback and distortion all over. i love it. i got it from gbm and i doubt this thing has been reissued because it's such an unknown record. i actually don't have too much to say that erich hasn't already said. just go over to gbm and read it. then download it and tell me what you think. and once again just because i don't reply to comments doesn't mean i don't read them. just look on the next post for an answer to your comment.
