50th post.coming soon!
i want to do something special for the 50th post. any ideas? i'm open for anything. and.yeah if you have a band and want people to hear it don't send it to me. but if you have a band and you want to be reviewed send it to ellindamood@gmail.com. or if you just want to say hi. or you can send death threats honestly i'll take anything. have you guys heard of satanic threat? it's minor threat song that have been changed to have satanic meanings. for example guilty of being white becomes guilty of hating christ. ok not that funny. fuck i'm sleepy. also drunk. one shouldn't post while drunk. i love vacation because i pass out around 4 and wake up around 12. yes i'm a kid. actually my biggest wish would not be to get vision because i've never had it. it's kind of like why would i want something that would make my life wierd. think of all i would have to relearn. reading and writing and stuff like that. anyway my biggest wish is to be pushed back to the early 80s. then all my music wouldn't be on reissue or out of print. fuck i hate reissues sooooooo much. word of advice. if your going to reissue something don't fucking change it please? but then again i wouldn't have access to all the great bands from that time that i can get now because of the blogs. um.if that sentence made any sence at all good. fuck i'm out of it. getting back to what i was saying have you gone and seen an old band that formed 20+years ago and still puts out some good stuff? i did four times. the bands were cannibal corpse slayer d.o.a and nofx (i know i'm a poser.) the bands were good but i kept thinking how great it would be to see these bands in the 80s. i know of good hardcore (once again i like anything heavy) and metal but the best was in the 80s i think. actually i was reading zach's new punk sucks post and it got me thinking. like i said i do like some poppy punk but i have for you a list of new bands i like. yes some of these bands could be called trendy or whatever. i don't really care. a global threat blunt the unseen static thought nobody good bullet brains society's parasites. check that last band out. i'm gonna do something and.50th post! what should i do.

ReplyDeletefirst off, i hate when reissues change the anything from the original too. i can't stand when someone reissues a classic 7 inch, like the freeze guilty face ep, and adds bonus songs on it. all i want is the original songs. i bought the middle class ep on frontier records, and it's got a big 2009 on the back now and it's right on the middle of the the back cover.
secondly the wish i was growing up in the 80's as well.
and lastly, i wrote that new punk sucks post when i was pissed that i got a crap pop cd when it looked punk. now i've been listening to some new underground stuff and learned that there are actually some good new punk bands out there. as you can see on my blog i've been posting a lot of new records lately. i should change that post to new punk rocks, but i probably won't. i like 80's punk 10 times better than new punk but i like that i can get a record for 5 bucks instead of a 100 bucks. for example, i bought a destroy l.a. record for 5 bucks and then i see the minor threat ep's on ebay and they want hundreds of dollars for them. it sucks to think that back in the 80's you could get a minor threat 7 inch for 2.50, it's so cheap.
well you're probably sick of listening to me now so i'll end this really long comment now.
oh wait, i don't know what you should do for your 50th post. i didn't even know but i did the bad religion ep on my 50th. see ya.
